CTVR has now morphed into a much larger research centre called CONNECT. The focus of this research centre is Future Networks and Communications.
In 2016, CONNECT will host it’s first season of ef. As always, ef will respond more or less spontaneously to the host context, seeking out catalysts and seeds, and generally causing modest interruptions on the network.
ef will act as a foil to CONNECT’s Pervasive Nation research remit.
CONNECT is Ireland’s national research centre for Future Networks and Communications. We are jointly funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and industry. We engage with over 35 companies including large multinationals, SMEs and start-ups. CONNECT brings together world-class expertise from ten Irish academic institutes to create a one-stop-shop for telecommunications research, development and innovation.
